6-Day forecast for the Huntsville, Alabama metro region


Showers and thunderstorms likely today and some of the rain can be heavy at times, windy as well with gusts to 50 mph possible, mild, highs near 60 degrees; S-SE winds around 20-30 mph; gusts possible to 50 mph


Mainly cloudy, windy with gusts to 45 mph, turning colder late, lows in the mid 20’s


Mainly sunny, quite chilly, lower 40’s for afternoon highs

Saturday Night             

Partly cloudy, cold, low-to-mid 20’s for late night lows


Mainly sunny, chilly, middle 40’s


Mainly cloudy, breezy, colder, chance of snow showers, lower 30’s


Mainly sunny, very cold, mid-to-upper 20’s


Mainly sunny, still quite cold, mid 30’s


Another major storm system is headed towards the Great Lakes and it will impact the Tennessee Valley today and tonight with some heavy rainfall and winds that can gust to 50 mph. On the heels of this storm, much colder air will push south and east across the middle of the nation and reach us later this weekend and it removes quite cold through the early part of next week.
