KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – It’s getting warmer, with gradually increasing humidity, which also leads to increasing rain chances the rest of the week.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This morning comes with a few passing clouds, light breeze, and a lows in the 50s, ranging from low to upper 50s by sunrise.
It is a little more humid today, with flow returning from the southwest. We have a few passing clouds at times, and a 10% chance for rain to pop-up. The high is around 87 degrees, but feels a couple of degrees warmer.
Tonight gets back to the warmer, stuffy air. We’re dropping to around 68 degrees,back to above average lows.
Wednesday will be around 90 degrees, and feeling several degrees warmer. An isolated shower or storm possible, mainly midday through the afternoon hours.
We’ll have more rain and storms developing Thursday, with a 60% coverage of our area. We have an isolated risk for severe storms, so we have a WVLT Weather Alert for your Thursday afternoon hours.
A few more showers and storms are possible Friday and Saturday, and staying steamy.
