HONOLULU (KHON2) – A upper-level disturbance digs over the area on Wednesday, the atmosphere will become more unstable and the weather will become unsettled.
Additionally there may be a surface low northeast of the islands by Wednesday night that might add to the shower activity.
There are likely to be periods of heavy rain starting Wednesday and continuing through the weekend.
Winds are likely to be from the north from Wednesday through the weekend and the winds could be strong at times depending on the development of the surface low.
