MISSOULA – A few more thunderstorms roll through the area tonight.
We are under a ‘marginal risk’ for severe weather as issued by the Storm Prediction Center.
This means there are a few stronger storms that could turn into severe storms, but the chances for a severe storm are still very isolated. We track a few more storms pushing out later this evening.
Tomorrow a cold front moves through. A few showers are possible early across the Northwest, but by the afternoon much cooler, dryer conditions return.
Expect below average temperatures to end the week, but much dryer air settles in.
Our fire concerns go from lightning-ignited with tonight’s storms to human-ignited as we see relative humidity percentages drop by the end of the week.
