Temperatures on Thursday will are forecast to get very close to record highs.
The record for April 26 in Las Vegas is 97-degrees set in 1996, the forecast high for today is 96-degrees.
Thursday will be the warmest day of the of the 7 day forecast however, as the next Weather Maker is forecast to roll in Friday.
Highs on Friday will still be in the 90s, but with gusty winds developing in the afternoon up to 30 mph. Winds will continue to increase heading into Saturday as temperatures drop.
Winds will gust to 35-40 mph on Saturday with highs in the upper 80s, then lesser gusts to 25 mph with highs in the low 80s for Sunday.
Relatively cooler temperatures are forecast for the start of next week with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.
A disturbance moving in Tuesday and Wednesday will bring a few more clouds to the region and also a slight chance for showers, which we will continue to monitor.
