SOUTHERN COLORADO, Colo. – The StormTracker 13 weather team is tracking the potential for strong-to-severe storms this afternoon and tonight. A weather alert remains in effect. There’s also a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in place until 8 p.m. for areas along and east of the I-25 corridor. This is due to the possibility for large hail (perhaps up to lime sized!) and gusts between 60-70 mph. Heavy rain could also create problems and cause flash flooding, so we’ll have to monitor that. Not everyone will see thunderstorms, but where they develop — they could pack a punch.
Storms will be moving to the east throughout the rest of the day today. Download our free StormTracker 13 weather app so you can track the storms right along with us!
