It’s going to be a beautiful day in central Pennsylvania.
But if you’re heading to the Penn State-Ohio football game this evening you should bring a jacket.
Once the morning fog dissipates, the temperature should peak at 71 and there will be bountiful sunshine, the National Weather Service predicts. Saturday night’s low should dip to 50. AccuWeather predicts it will be slightly cooler.
Sunday should be a copy of Saturday. Ditto for Monday, although it will be warmer, perhaps as hot as 78.
Tuesday is the only day the weather service is calling for a possibility of rain. It places the odds for thunderstorms at 50-50. AccuWeather is calling for a “passing afternoon shower.” Tuesday’s high will still be in the upper 70s.
Fair weather with highs in the upper 70s will prevail Thursday and Friday, the federal forecasters and AccuWeather say.
