Weather Alerts

A strong cold front will move through the area Monday causing
temperatures to drop steadily throughout the day with lows
reaching the 20s by early Tuesday morning. At the same time, an
upper low over Mexico will increase precipitation chances and a
wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain will be possible, especially
along and south of the I-10 corridor. Ground temperatures are
still warm this early in the season, but ice accumulations and
slick driving conditions may still be possible so exercise
caution if driving. Stay alert to the latest weather forecast
information from the National Weather Service and the latest
driving conditions can be obtained from the Texas Department of
Transportation.
