The mid-Hudson Valley is expected to see a couple chances of rain this week.
Temperatures are expected to be above normal to start the week said Joe Villani, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Albany.
“Nothing out of the ordinary for this time of year is expected,”Villani said.

Monday is expected to be a nice day with sunny skies, he said. The high is forecasted to reach 64 degrees with a low around 40 degrees.
The first chance of rain is expected Tuesday night into Wednesday, with isolated showers before midnight. The high may reach near 64 degrees and a low of 41 degrees.
Wednesday is expected to be cooler with a high around 56 degrees and low of 42 degrees. Villani said there will be a break of precipitation during the day but another system is expected to move in Wednesday night into Thursday.

The high on Thursday is forecasted to reach 58 degrees and a low of 37 degrees. Friday may reach a high of 52 degrees and low around 34 degrees
The average high for this week of March is 56 degrees and the low is 33 degrees. The area normally sees 10 inches of rain by this time of year, but so far Villani said the weather service was recorded 6 inches in the Poughkeepsie area.
“The first half of the week looks definitely warmer,” he said. “And then it looks like it should dry out by Friday.”
