An isolated storm chance continues in Southside along the NC-VA state-line, otherwise most remain quiet into the night with muggy conditions. Lows will only fall into the upper 60s to low 70s.
Both days look pretty much the same aside from slightly less humid weather Saturday. Expect a ton of sunshine with very low chances of rain. Highs will still be hot as they climb into the upper 80s to even mid 90s for areas out east.
TROPICAL STORM BARRY
Tropical Storm Barry will likely make landfall along the Louisiana coastline early Saturday. Extreme flooding will be possible in the Gulf states as it moves north. Locally, impacts from what’s left of Barry will be confined to heightened rain chances by mid-week next week.
