UPDATE 11:10 PM| According to the NV Energy website, power has been restored throughout the valley.
UPDATE 10:30 PM| Those affected by the power outage has dropped to around 500 customers.
UPDATE 9:10 PM| According to a NV Energy spokesperson, the outage was caused by weather, causing 7,700 customers to go without power for an hour and five minutes.
According to the NV Energy website, there are still over 3,000 customers without power around the valley, but that number is steadily decreasing.
UPDATE 8:40 PM| Outages across the Las Vegas valley have reached nearly 11,000 customers, according to the NV Energy website.
Over 2,000 customers are without power in the Paradise area near Tropicana Avenue and Eastern Avenue.
ORIGINAL| According to the NV Energy website, more than 10,000 customers are without electricty in the Las Vegas valley Sunday night, Feb. 10.
Most of the outages look to have hit in the Spring Valley area, near Flamingo Road and Jones Boulevard, which were reported shortly before 8:00 p.m.
These outages will reportedly be restored between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
The total number of outages is 10,411 as of 8:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, the valley is also experiencing snow and graupel in the Centennial Hills and Summerlin areas, according to the National Weather Service.
Residents are advised to stay indoors if possible and drive with caution if out on valley roads.
