With a forecast high of 78 degrees and partly cloudy skies, some might say it’s a good day to take the bus out to a prime hiking spot in or around Portland. That would be us, publishers of a guide to said spots.

Scattered clouds will stick around through mid-morning Saturday, according the National Weather Service forecast. And a light wind of about 5 mph will streak through the area in the afternoon.
Overnight lows for Saturday reach 55 degrees, with a slightly sunnier, warmer outlook on tap for Sunday. The NWS forecast to end the weekend calls for a high of 84 degrees and low of 57.
If hiking or the blues aren’t your thing, the weekend might also be a good chance to check out one of the 45 best places in the city with patio seating.
