Portland metro Saturday weather: warm, clearing clouds for holiday weekend

Weather for the Fourth of July holiday is expected to be warm and the clouds should clear gradually throughout the day.

The high for Saturday will be 76 degrees and the low is 55 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Tomorrow, expect similar conditions to finish off the holiday weekend with a high of 77 degrees and a low of 55 degrees.

The sunny, warm weather is slated to continue into the start of the week.

While nice weather would normally have people flocking to holiday festivities, government mandated limits on gatherings have drastically changed the face of Oregon’s celebration.

Many popular fireworks shows and fireworks displays — including the Vancouver Fireworks Spectacular, St. Paul Rodeo and Molalla Buckeroo — have been canceled. Portland’s Waterfront Blues Festival, which features a fireworks display, has also been called off.
