NEW YORK — After a beautiful day, clouds will increase Sunday night as a storm system approaches from the south. This storm will barely graze the Tri-State as is passes offshore, but it will be close enough to bring clouds and perhaps a few showers late Sunday night into Monday morning.
The best chance for rain will be on Long Island and at the New Jersey shore.
The storm exits on Monday evening, but a stronger system is set to arrive on Tuesday. Rain and thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon, and winds will be gusty all day.
Behind Tuesday’s storm system, it will be blustery and cooler. High temperatures on Earth Day Wednesday will struggle to reach the 50s.
