kare11.com | WEATHER: Melting begins

0

The snow is done but the cold lingers yet today. We ended up with 15.7″ at MSP officially making for possibly (the NWS is checking precise timing details) our 11th biggest snowfall on record in the Twin Cities! We’re now in the snowiest April on record.

Minnesota Road Conditions

Wisconsin Road Conditions

Clouds will partially break up today allowing for some sun melting snow dramatically despite cool temps with highs only in the mid to upper 30s & a northwest breeze yet at 9-15 mph. Sunshine & temps in the 40s on the way for tomorrow. Wednesday could yield more rain/snow with possible accumulations (though not a big snow). Temps finally turn around dramatically by the weekend into the 50s & perhaps 60s next week!!
