Indians weather forecast: Warm and sunny for Tribe home series against Minnesota Twins


CLEVELAND, Ohio — After shining on the national stage as hosts of the MLB All-Star game, where Indians pitcher Shane Bieber was named MVP, the Tribe is set to kickoff three-game home series against the Minnesota Twins. And it will be a beautiful weekend for some baseball.

Here is the forecast for the three-game series against the Twins, according to the National Weather Service Cleveland.

Friday, July 12 – first pitch at 7:10 p.m.

Overall: Mostly sunny with temperatures hovering in the low 70s.

Temperature: 73 degrees around 7 p.m., cooling to 71 degrees by midnight.

Precipitation: 0 percent from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Saturday, July 13 – first pitch at 7:10 p.m.

Overall: Another nice night at the ballpark.

Temperature: 81 degrees around 7 p.m., cooling to 76 degrees at midnight.

Precipitation: Less than 10 percent throughout the evening until about 9 p.m. when chances jump to about 24 percent.

Sunday, July 14 – first pitch at 1:10 p.m.

Overall: A pleasant day for some baseball.

Temperature: 74 degrees around 1 p.m., climbing to about 77 degrees at 5 p.m.

Precipitation: Less than 10 percent.
