HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) —
Scattered showers will continue this morning until a cold front moves through around daybreak. This front will finally clear out the gloomy sky and bring back the sunshine!
Once the dry air behind the front reaches the coast, the clouds and sea fog will quickly disperse, and this time we’ll get two days of nearly full sunshine with highs in the 60s!
With the clear sky Tuesday night, temps will dip into the upper 30s Wednesday morning with patchy frost possible in spots. Clouds spread back over for Valentine’s Day ahead of a stronger cold front arriving this weekend. This front should pass through mostly dry, but behind the front it will likely turn cold, cloudy, and wet for a few days, similar to what happened last Friday and Saturday when temperatures were stuck in the 40s.
