A heat advisory has been issued today, Thursday and Friday as sun is expected to shine throughout the Lower Hudson Valley, according to the National Weather Service.
The heat advisory is in effect from noon today until 6 p.m. Friday. Humidity should be high as temperatures touch the low 90s, but it could feel like it’s in the high 90s outside until the weekend, according to the weather service.

Thursday and half of Friday are expected to be sunny and dry, but storms could return to the area after 2 p.m. Friday, when there is a 50 percent chance of rain, according to the weather service. Rain is expected to continue through Friday night parts of Saturday.
The weekend should be cooler as temperatures peak around 80 degrees, accompanied by mostly cloudy skies, according to the weather service.
