UPDATE: Tornado Watch issued for Trigg, Christian, Todd, Logan, Simpson counties in Kentucky until 4 p.m.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — FOX 17 News is in a Code Red Weather Alert as the severe weather risk has been raised for middle Tennessee.
A large portion of the mid-state has been place under an enhanced risk (3 out of 5) for severe weather on Thursday. Damaging winds and a tornado or two are possible.
A tornado watch for west Tennessee that includes, Henry, Benton and Decatur counties is issued until noon.
A wind advisory has also been issued until 7 p.m.
SkyWatch 17 meteorologists are monitoring the track and timing.
