Skies look clear and temperatures should reach the mid-80s this week, but the weekend is predicted to be stormy.
Storms could reappear as early as Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. On Memorial Day, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The rest of the weekend is predicted to be mostly cloudy with a chance of storms and shower and temperatures in the high 80s.
The recent heat wave is breaking records. Through May 22, this May is the second warmest ever in Cincinnati, with avg. temps some 8-10 degrees above normal, according to the weather service.

Severe storms this week did produce a tornado in Brown County on Monday. The National Weather Service said the brief, weak tornado initially touched down and caused substantial tree and limb damage and damage to a handful of residences.
